Comparison Analysis on Doppler Radar Data of Two Convective Storms in 2004

In this paper, using routine weather data, satellite images and Doppler radar data, the two storms, which occurred on June 20th and June 24th in 2004 in Hebei province, were comparatively analyzed. The results indicate that the reference information about local strong wind and hail's forecasting can be obtained by combining vortex analysis with mesoscale cyclone products, and the intensity of round cloud on satellite images and the size of vertical integrated liquid from Doppler radar products reflect the intensity of storms.
