Kinetics of Photocatalytic Degradation of Bromophenol Blue by Iron-doped TiO_2 Undervisible Light

Iron-doped TiO2 crystal powders are prepared by hydrothermal method and are characterized by means of XRD and SEM,and the photocatalytic degradation process of bromophenol blue on the as-prepared iron-doped TiO2 is studied under different conditions.Experiment results show that the as-prepared TiO2 crystals are anatase.The best degeneration rate of bromophenol blue is about 48.30% for 4h when the amount of catalyst is 0.0500 g(10% iron-doped,mole fraction) and initial concentration of bromophenol blue is 5 mg·L-1.The kinetics of photocatalytic degradation reaction can be expressed by the first-order reaction kinetic model.
