Recent Progress on Double Elements Co-doping of Nano-titanium Dioxide Photocatalysts

Nano TiO2 particle as a photocatalytic materials, It has a very wide range of use in areas such as environmental protection, solar energy conversion, the pharmaceutical industry and industrial catalysts. Low light quantum efficiency and high-energy short wavelength excitation source is the main reasons to limit the materials applicationn. So doping modified is a important ways to achieve visible response and improve the quantum efficiency of the photocatalytic activity. But one component of doping can not raise these two factors, multi-doping bacome very important.This paper reviews the use of the two elements in recent years to improve coordination doped TiO2 photocatalytic terms of the progress.
