Influence of Emotional Care on Depression and Anxiety of the Patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

Objective: To explore the influence of emotional care on depression and anxiety of the patients with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE). Methods: All 88 SLE patients were randomized into the intervention group and the control group. The patients of the control group were given with routine care and the ones of the intervention group emotional care on the foundation of routine care, the improvements of depression and anxiety of the patients were judged by Zung self-rating depression scale(SDS) and self-rating anxiety scale(SAS). Results: The difference demonstrated statistical meaning in SDS and SAS between both groups after treating(P0.05). Conclusion:Emotional care could alleviate the depression and anxiety of SLE patients.
