The Effects of Continuous Care Mode Applied to the Patients with Cervical Spondylosis(Vertebral Artery Type)

Objective: To observe the applied effects of continuous care mode for the patients with cervical spondylosis( vertebral artery type). Methods: 100 patients were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, each group 50 cases. The observation group was given continuous care with excellent care, the control group given routine care. Vertebral function dysfunction index, self-care ability and the condition of following the doctor′s advice were observed in both groups.Results:Compared vertebral function dysfunction index at times when admitted into hospital, discharged from hospital, three months after discharged from hospital wihtin two groups,there were statistical differences(P0.05); compared index at times when discharged from hospital, three months after discharged from hospital betweeen two groups, there were statistical differences(P0.05); there was statistical difference in self-care ability between two groups(P0.05); there was statistical difference in following doctor's advice between two groups(P0.05). Conclusion: Continuous care can relieve clinical symptoms of patients, promote self-care of patients and the patients following the doctor's advice.
