Development on ultrasonic image diagnosis system for bonding quality of multilayer coating structure

Aiming at bonding quality detection problems of multilayer coating structure for the airborne solid rocket motor,an automatic ultrasonic image diagnosis system was developed by using double-mode focused probe detection method.The system is suitable for bonding quality detection of varions air-to-air missile rocket motors with diameter within 90~250 mm,total length less than 2 000mm,and some pretruding things on the case surfae.Through one C-scan,bonding quality images among different interfaces of multilayer coating structure were obtained,and debond inspection resolution power is less than 5 mm.
