DYNAMIC STRESS CONCENTRATION AROUND AN INTERFACE CAVITY OF ARBITRARY SHAPE BY SH WAVES

Complex function and Green's function are employed to solve the scattering problem of SH-waves by an interface cavity with arbitrary shape.First,we should construct a suitable Green's function,which is an essential solution of displacement field for an elastic half space with canyon with arbitrary shape impacted by anti-plane harmonic line source loading at horizontal surface.Secoudly the methods of "conjunction" are used to construct the scattering model of SH-waves by interface cavity with arbitrary shape.A series of integral equations are set up through displacement continuity conditions on the interface in terms of the Green's function.The solution of dynamic stress concentration factor around an interface cavity is obtained.Finally,numerical results of dynamic stress concentration factor around an interface cavity with elliptic or square shape are provided,the influences of different media parameters and the cavity shape upon the dynamic stress concentration factor around the cavity are discussed.
