GIS and BPNN Based Construction Land Suitability Assessment

This paper proposes a geographic information system (GIS) and BP neural net (BPNN) supported new method of assessing construction land suitability, describes the principle and system of the construction land suitability assessment, and puts forward the technical route of the new method. Taking Hengqing Island of Zhuhai municipality as a research example, based on GIS platform and using BP model, this paper conducts the suitability assessment of the construction land in Hengqing island.
