SLURRY TECHNIQUE FOR THE DETERMINATION OF IN WHEAT AND RICE FLOUR BY ELECTROTHERMAL ATOMIC ABSORPTION SPECTROMETRY

A simple and rapid method is described for the direct determination of lead in wheat and rice flour by ETAAS. The flours are boiled in water bath successfully to give a suspensions containing 2% sample material and can be respectly steadied to 50 and 30 mins. Effect of the slurry stability and the potimum condition of estimation are studied. The sensitivity of method is 1.3ng/ml/1%. The detection limit is 1.8 ng/ml. The C. V of 20ng/ml Pb in sample is 2.0%. The recovery of six kinds of sample are 91.4~115%.
