Study of anti-seismic performance of self-anchored suspension bridge

Taking a self-anchored suspension bridge as an example,a spatial finite element model with beam element is established in this paper.Seismic response and dynamic behavior of the bridge before isolation and after isolation are studied.A series of results can be obtained from this study: The natural vibration period of the bridge increases after isolation,and the effect of vibration reduction of the main pier and stiffening grider is obvious,however,the tension force of main cable increases after isolation.The study results of the paper may be used as a reference to engineer practice.
