Study on heat generated by friction in planetary milling process

For the movement of the abrasive and workpiece in planetary centrifugal grinding process,this paper,regarding a single abrasive as the research object,established the mechanical model of the abrasive grinding workpieces under the rotating moving coordinate system and deduced an expression of cutting force. According to the relationship between cutting force and cutting energy,predicting the heat flux generated by interface of media and workpiece. In addition,this paper researched the impact of the revolution speed,ratio,and abrasive particle size by changing the range of parameters,and provided a theoretical basis for the study of the temperature field in centrifugal grinding process.
