Zhao Jianhua;Tian Yinsheng;Qu Hanfei;
The single urbanization mode of suburban villages causes serious loss of value of rural-urban areas currently; urban and rural spatial development presents a simple convergence and sprawl trends. "Too much emphasis on spatial form, while ignoring the industrial development" is the main cause of this problem. According to the domestic research on ruralurban industrial and spatial development, we can see the development of multifunctional agriculture is an effective approach to achieve the optimal value of rural-urban areas. Taking Zhengzhou as an example, the paper firstly reveals that the agriculture industry cluster is the development trend of Zhengzhou's rural-urban agriculture. Then it explores the rural-urban space optimization strategy. The construction of multifunctional space system will form a virtuous urban growth boundary. Ultimately urban and rural areas will achieve integrated development with difference.
