The design of high frequency ultrasonic driver circuit based on AD9832

To explore the application of ultrasonic testing technology on swine pregnancy diagnosis and to study the ultrasonic produce and drive circuit in high frequency ultrasonic testing system, a high frequency ultrasonic driving circuit system based on Direct Digital Synthesizer(DDS) chip AD9832 was designed. The system controlled AD9832 to make 2MHz pulse with an AVR single chip microcomputer according to the working principle of AD9832. A bandpass filter circuit and an amplify and drive circuit dealt with the pulse signal so it can drive the ultrasonic transducer to emit high frequency ultrasonic. Using circuit simulation method and outputting waveforms by PCB board, the system analyzed effect of the circuit designed. The result showed that all parts of circuit were reasonable and practical. The system can provide reference and basis for high frequency ultrasonic testing system design with its features of small volume, low cost and low consumption.
