Review of chemical modification and characterization for PP

The implementation of chemical modification for PP was introduced in this paper, and the type of appropriate grafting monomer for PP and the selection of currently popular co-monomer were discussed. In detailed, the characterization of PP after being modified was summarized, such as the measure of grafting ratio, contact angle and surface free energy. Especially, the rule that surface free energy of PP can directly and effectively reflect the polarity of PP before and after being modified was pointed out.
