A Study of Trace Amount of Selenium Iixiviated in Tea

The content of selenium lixiviated in tea was studied.2,3 Diaminonaphthalene was used for the fluorometric determination of selenium in tea and boiled water.The results show that the content of selenium in tea is 2.45 μg/g.The content of selenium in boiled water is 0.71 μg/100 mL.The content of selenium in boiled water with a second-time to quartic is 0.10~0.18 μg/100 mL.It concluded tea is with plenty of the natural selenium,to drinking it daily will useful to health.
