Current Progress in Evaluation Indexes for Heavy Metals Pollution in Soils

YU Jian dong,NI Wu zhong,YANG Xiao e (College of Environment and Resource Sciences,Zhejiang University,Hangzhou 310029,China)
The evaluation indexes for heavy metals pollution in soils include total concentration of heavy metals in soil, bioavailable concentration of heavy metals in soil, enzyme activity of soil and toxic concentration of plant.Since polluted soils usually were contaminated with more than one element,it is complex to establish the polluted criteria of one heavy metal element for the interactions of heavy metals. At present, the integrated index was commonly used for the evaluation of heavy metal pollution in soils.
