Determination of Iron in the Kidney Beans by Spectrophotometry

The determination of iron in Kidney beans the was investigated by spectrophotometry with phenanthroline. The method is simple,fast and accurate. The effects of maximum absorption wavelength,temperature,p H value,dosage of chromogenic agent,and coloration time on determi- nation result were discussed in mechanical process,and iron determination in Kidney beans was finished after determination of the optimal experimental conditions,to provide reference for further research and utilization.
