Study and Application on Combined Control System of Reactive Power and Voltage in Area Power Grid

In order to realize the effective and reliable operation of power system,it is necessary to keep the reactive power and voltage under control,balance the reactive power locally and optimize the energy quality.The area reactive power and voltage combined control system(AVC) adopts the mode of centralized deciding as well as grade and location control.Taking into account the power grid safety regulation and by on-line optimization calculation,the strategy of reasonable voltage calibration and reactive power optimization to implement real time auto control of reactive power and voltage is suggested.It has very important signification for quality improvement of electric energy,reduction of energy loss and labour-saving of operators.
