Influence of the Loading Frequency on the Fatigue Life of 1Cr11Ni20Ti2B Steel

The influence of loading frequency on the fatigue life of 1Cr11Ni20Ti2B steel under axial stress condition was investigated. The fatigue life at different stresses were taken by using high frequency test machine Amsler HFP 5000 and MTS 810 electricalhydro servo control lowcycle fatigue testing system, respectively. The comparison test was done at the same stress under different loading frequencies by the test machines. The test results show that the fatigue life was shorter with the loading frequency decreasing. But the influence of the loading frequency between 20Hz and 135Hz on the fatigue life of 1Cr11Ni20Ti2B steel was not obvious and the fatigue life taken from different loading frequencies can been described in the same fatigue life curve.
