Experimental study of compression performance for CFRP confined concrete

Thirty nine concrete test samples have been manufactured altogether in this experiment,among them,twenty seven is cube and other twelve is prism.From the results of laboratory testing for CFRP confined concrete under static uniaxial compression are presented.By analyzing the experimental results,this paper focuses on the compressive mechanical properties of CFRP confined concrete,get the reinforcement effect of concrete with CFRP.The experimental results show that CFRP confined concrete horizontal cloth deformation can indirectly raise the bearing capacity of compression members,and the improving of capacity relates with the concrete strength;CFRP cloth bound axially loaded concrete columns of the failure modes,CFRP wrapped concrete columns cloth stress-strain curve shape and peak stress,peak strain,strain the limits of entanglement relate with the column before the axial compression ratio,CFRP wrapped cloth,as well as the value of the fiber characteristics.The study provides a theoretical basis for the actual reinforcement works,and thus is of practical significance.
