Study on the Preparation of Dibenzoyl-L-tartaric Acid(L-DBTA) Imprinted Composite Membranes and its Properties

Using polysulfone(PSF) hollow fiber membrane as the supported membrane,the chiral(L-DBTA) molecular imprinted hollow fiber composite membrane(CMIHFCM) was prepared by surface thermal-polymerization method and the recognition properties of prepared CMIHFCM for enantioseparation was studied.After surface polymerization,the external surface of CMIHFCM prepared has a complex network layer with the thickness of 3μm which is thicker than that of the original supported membrane,and in the complex network layer,there are many "caves" with sizes less than 200nm.The experimental results show that,using the prepared CMIHFCM,the L-DBTA solution can be condensed greatly and the separation factor(α) of L-DBTA and D-DBTA could reach 2.7.It indicates that the prepared CMIHFCM has a good recognition ability for the template L-DBTA,while for the non-molecularly imprinted membrane,its recognition towards L-DBTA is not so obvious.It was found that when the concentration of initiator used is 4.0% and after surface thermal polymerization at 60℃ for 48 hours,the CMIHFCM with good recognition property towards L-DBTA can be prepared.
