Measurement of Turbulence Parameters and Data Processing in Stirred Tank with an Axial Impeller

The characteristics of turbulence flow in an stirred tank with an axial impeller have been investigated.The turbulent parameters,such as the velocity and energy spectrum,have been measured by one-dimension hot-film anemometer.In the vicinity of impeller,the fluctuating velocity has periodic component,which decreases sharply with increasing distance to the impeller tip. By using auto-corrected method,the measured fluctuation velocity were corrected.The methed of calculating energy speetrum was also discussed.
