Hardware design of the real time acquisition for a color image

The characteristic of various image signal source is analysed. A hardware design scheme of color image acquisition is proposed. The parameter selection for color image digitalization is discussed. we have disigned two PLL circuit: clock generation from color subcarrier signal (PLL 1) and clock generation from horizontal synchronized signal (PLL 2). The PLL 1 is used for processing of standard color TV signal, PLL 2 is for non standard image signal. Finally the disign of a frame memory and an interface are discussed simply. The real time acquisition scheme is characterized by simplified hardware, only a few software, easy adjust and test, and low cost.
