Parameter optimum design of a lightweight rectangular mirror

Using the engineering analysis software ANSYS, a parameter structure model for the rectangular primary mirror of the space remote sensor be built. Some dimension that affects mirror's deformation and mass is converted to design variables. The RMS of the deformation of the mirror's surfaces under one gravity and the Von Mises maximum stress under the overload of launch is assigned to be state variables. Thus an ultra lightweight, high precision mirror be gained by means of finite elements analysis and parameter optimum design method.
