Extracting water depth based on parallax of autocorrelation characteristics

We propose a new method simulating water depth based on parallax of autocorrelation characteristics by images of shallow sea.First,we take two pictures of a same object at different time,or the same time but at different angle. By point to point image matching,we get the deviation of each point.Then we calculate water depth by the deviation,and get data of each point in 3D image of relative area.In the paper,taking two seaside photographs as an example,and basing on the parallax algorithm,3D display about water depth of relative area is realized.The result indicates that the new algorithm is feasible.
