Development of edge interrogation technology-based FBG Bourdon tube pressure sensor

A new fiber Bragg grating(FBG)pressure sensor is developed,which uses the Bourdon tube as the pressure sensing element.The double edge-wavelength interrogation technology is used as the wavelength signal demodulation method,and a pressure testing system is constructed for verifying the performance of the developed FBG pressure sensor.The preliminary experimental results indicate that the pressure measurement sensitivity is 0.33nm/MPa,the linearity is 0.99977,and the measurement resolution is 0.01MPa.
