Design and applicatin of dual-channel scan polarized lidar

The system structure,technical parameters and calibration procedure of the dual-channel scan polarized lidar are presented,the typical experiment results over the suburb of Beijing in the summer of 2007 in combination with dualchannel scan polarized lidar are discussed.The experimental result shows that the lidar could be applied to automate monitoring of city atomospheric.Some space-time distributing information of pullutant source is obtained by measuring horizonally-polarized characteristic and vertical-polarized characteristic of echoed signal,such as pullutant source azimuth,relative intensity,pullution zone and so on.
