The mode and bandgap of electromagnetic wave in cylindrical 1-D photonic crystal

LIU Qi-neng(Computer Science and Information Engineering College of Chongqing Technology and Business University,Chongqing 400067,China)  
The condition of electromagnetic wave mode is obtained by restrictions condition of electromagnetic wave in the cylindrical 1-D doping photonic crystal.The character of electromagnetic wave mode is studied.The bandgap of TE wave and TM wave is calculated.The new bandgap structure of cylindrical 1-D photonic crystal is obtained.
