Back analysis of 3D in-site stress field of an underground powerhouse region

FU Xing-yi,YAN Liu-bin,SU Guo-shao (College of Civil and Architectural Engineering,Guangxi Unniversity,Nanning 530004,China)  
Based on the measured data of initial geostress and engineering conditions in the region of an undeground powerhouse,the factors afecting the initial geostress are discussed. Estabilish the three dimensional finie madol,then FLAC~(3D)are used to make back-analysis on in-situ stress field of the underground powerhouse region.A multivariate regression model is developed for measured and calculated results of geostress at measurement points,and the regression coefficient of the model is derived.The result shows that the calculated stress is reliable and it provides a gist for designing and constructing the underground powerhouse.
