Study on preparation and flexural strength of geopolymer based composites materials

For promoting the toughness of brittle geopolymers materials,the geopolymer composites materials are prepared using metakaolin,sodium silicate,PEO (polyethylene oxide) as raw material.At first,the research approaches inserts PEO between the layers of metakaolin,and then make it polymerization with alkali solution.The experimental results show that the flexural strength of geopolymer base composites is increased by adding PEO,dispersant agent and defoamer.
