Seismic fragility analysis of SRC structures based on IDA method

The seismic fragility and collapse capacity of SRC structures were investigated based on incremental dynamic analysis(IDA) method.Four structures with different ratios of column-to-beam strength were designed and calculated to obtain the structural seismic capacity curves.The probability models for ground seismic hazard are established through ground seismic hazard analysis.The structural seismic fragility was analyzed according to the calculated structural seismic capacity curves,and the exceeding probability of different state levels,as well as collapse margin ratio(CMR) were obtained.Based on the calculated fragility curves and probability models for ground seismic hazard,the annual exceeding probability of different states is derived.The results show that the ratio of column-to-beam strength has great influence on structural seismic fragility.For a certain earthquake,CMR is increased as ratio of column-to-beam increases,i.e.,an increase in the ratio of column-to-beam strength can effectively reduce the collapse possibility of the structure.
