Preparation of hydroxypropyl starch by cassava starch

Hydroxypropyl starch wsa preparatied by cassava starch.The influences of the quantity of activativ catalyst,reaction temperature,feed rate,the quantity of propylene oxide,reaction time on molar substitution was investigated in the ethanol / water as solvent.In the selected experimental conditions,the molar substitution(MS) of preparatied hydroxypropyl starch was 0.086.
