Research progress on fertilizer application of good quality fluecured tobacco leaf in China

LIU Jizhen,ZHANG Tianping,XU Weihong(Resources and Environment College of Southwest Agricultural University,Chongqing 400716)  
One of the key techniques to cultivate fluecured tobacco was fertilizer application,including fertilizer rate,method of fertilizing and the fertilizer type,which affect the yield and quality of tobacco leaf obviously.The paper summarized the effects of fertilizer application on the yield and quality of fluecured tobacco leaf,expanded the nutrient features of good quality fluecured tobacco leaf and its special requirement to soil texture,water,organic matter content,potential of hydrogen and mineral nutrition etc,and especially introduced the fertilizer practice of tobacco in seedbed and field.
