Analysis of Heavy Rains in Guangxi Beibu Gulf Sea Breeze Front in 2008

Using automatic weather station surface observations,Doppler radar sounding data,FY satellite image retrieval data on 5 June 2008 in the Beibu Gulf,the severe convective weather triggered by Sea Breeze Front(SBF)was comprehensively analyzed,the activity characteristics of Beibu Gulf SBF were also summarized.The results show that SBF as a mesoscale convective system,mainly due to the combined effect of southerly winds,the rear north easterly land breeze and the fluctuations of sea high pressure.In this process,SBF showed two parts,the east of which extended about 150km inland.
