STUDIES ON CATALYTIC KINETIC SPECTROPHO- TOMETRIC METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF CHROMIUM IN WATER

The new method using Cr ( Ⅳ )-KBros-reduced rhodamine B system for determination of trace CR(Ⅳ)by catalytic kinetic spectrppbotometry has been studied.The range of determination is 0.05 to 0.4μg/10ml for Cr(Ⅳ)with sensitivity of 5.0×10-9 gCr/ml.Water samples were determined by this method with satisfactory results.
