Exploring the Application of STUN-based NAT Technology in Soft-switch Network

Net Address Translation(NAT) Technology,a way to deal with IP address shortage and to ensure the network safety,is hard to realize the transparent transmission of voice,and therefore becomes a problem for the application of soft-switch technology.Here we discuss about one solution to this problem,which is to realize NAT transmission via STUN protocol.Meanwhile,we discuss the difference between STUN-based NAT and Proxy-based NAT.
