PREPARATION OF SnO_2 ULTRAFINES BY CHEMICAL METHOD OF LOW-TEMPERATURE PLASMA

Noncrystalline SnO_2 ultrafinesare synthesized from the system of anhydrous SnCl_4 and pure O_2 by the chemical method of low-temperature plasma. The effect of the flow of all reactive gases or vapours on the shape and composition of SnO_2 ultrafines is determined by means of XRD, TEM, IR and XPS, and the relationship between the heat-treatment temperature and the size of ultrafines is studied. It is shown that the size of ultrafines increases with heat-treatment temperature,and their average diameter is about 35(?)when the heat-treatment temperature is lower than 250℃.
