THE INFLUENCE OF THE COAGULATION DEGREE OF COLLOIDAL PARTICLES ON THE AGGLOMERATE STATE OF ULTRAFINE ZrO_2-MgO POWDERS

According to the dynamic model of the coprecipitation process. the relationship between the coagulation degree of colloidal particles in the initial stage of precipitation and the agglomerate state of powder was studied. As shown in the experimental results, the agglomerates are mainly formed in the course of precipitation. The agglomerate state of powder depends on the coagulation degree of colloidal particles. It is certain that the agglomerate state of powder can be controlled by the coagulation characteristics of colloidal particles. On the basis of the experimental research coagulation factor expressing the coagulation characteristics of aggregates in powder is proposed.
