Pollen morphology of some species of Gesneriaceae from Guangxi

Pollen morphology of some species of Gesneriaceae from Guangxi was examined under scanning electron microscope(SEM). The shape of pollen grains is subpheroidal or prolate. Sculpture type may be divided into three types :(1)reticulate; (2) reticuloidae; (3)cerebroid. The type of sculpture may have some significances in the systematic arrangement of Gesneriaceae.
