Application of DDS Signal Source in the CO Laser Detection System

Compared to the traditional method of frequency synthesis,DDS synthesized signal has such advantages,as short time of frequency switching,high frequency resolution,phase change continuously and so on.In the design of the CO laser detection system,the signal generator is required to output four different frequency waves at the same time,and their digital frequency,phrase and magnitude should be flexibly adjustable,so the signal generator of the system uses the FPGA device and the design uses Altera's FPGA-based chip EP2C8Q208C8.After designing and testing circuit,it illustrates the validity of DDS.As the advantage of the programmable of FPGA,it is convenient to modify and optimize the function of DDS.
