Research on the Adsorptive Removal of NH_3-N from Wastewater by CNTs

The adsorption of ammonia nitrogen by CNTs is discussed,the effects of CNTs dosage,pH and adsorption time on the adsorption are investigated,meanwhile ammonia nitrogen adsorption isotherms and adsorption kinetics experiments are conducted and also the adsorption is characterizated by power X-ray diffraction( XRD). The results show that,when pH and the dosage of CNTs is 7 ~ 9 and 7mg respectively,the adsorption efficiency of CNTs on ammonia nitrogen wastewater of 50 mg / L is best in 50 mins of adsorption. The adsorption of ammonia nitrogen by CNTs meets the Freundlich isotherm equation and Bangham equation.
