Automobile Catalyst and Vehicle Pollution Control

Feng Zhaoren(Beijing Green Star Special Catalytic Co., Beijing, 100085)  
Automobile catalysts, as the most effective means for automobile exhaust pollution control, are also one of the sorts of catalysts that are being paid close attention to today. From the view point of catalysis, this article summerizes the development of several generations of automobile catalysts abroad. The catalytic purification of exhaust gas from automobiles in service, which is peculiar to developing countries, is discussed and forecast.
