Development of a highly-stable catalyst for dehydrogenation of long chain alkanes

Development of a dehydrogenation catalyst and its properties for H2 chemisorption and dehydrogenation were described.The effects of Sn promoter and alkali metal on activity,stability and selectivity of the catalyst were studied.The results showed that Conversion was increased by 2 percentage points over the catalyst compared with commercial DF-2 catalyst,with comparable service life and selectivity.
