Selective catalytic reduction of NO by methane over Co/MOR catalysts modified with rare earth in the presence of rich oxygen

M(1)Co(10)/MOR (M=La,Ce,Pr,Nd) catalysts were prepared by impregnation method and its properties of selective catalytic reduction of NO with methane (CH_4-SCR) was investigated in the presence of oxygen. The catalysts were characterized by XRD, TG-DSC-MS and NH_3-TPD. XRD results showed that Co species mainly existed in the form of Co3 04. The activity evalution results indicated that the catalytic performance of M (1) Co (10)/MOR was affected by the kind of rare earth ; La(1) Co (10) / MOR and Pr(1)Co(10)/MOR catalysts exhibited better catalytic activity, and NO coversion was 45.5% and 48.3 %, respectively, at 344 ℃ 363 ℃.
