Modeling of Work-In-Process Buffer for Group Production Unit Based on Timed Petri Net

This paper builds an extend timed place Petri Net model for the group production unit in HX shipyard,which based on the classification of work-in-process buffer to different functions and structures,and mapped Petri nets into eM-Plant simulation model.Then monitors and analyzes the inventory simulation data to the work-in-process buffer.At last,this paper discusses the theory process of the group production unit,machine utilization state,parts sequence schedule optimization and the consistency and stability of the production.
