Application of "GREY CONCEPT" on the trouble prediction of electric furnace mechanics

Long Wenming  
Taking the breakdown time as a parameter the longevity of steel cables for electrode lifting and lowering of the electric furnace is predicted by the "grey concept".Compared with the results of tests the values predicted show higher accuracy.
