Study on the Characteristics of Pyrolysis and Combustion for Sugarcane Chaff

The proximate analysis and pyrolysis experiments are done for sugarcane chaff, its pyrolysis kinetics model is derived. The ignition and combustion characteristics of sugarcane chaff's volatile behind bluff body and slitting bluff body burner are analyzed. Based on the diffusion control model and reaction kinetics control model, the burning out time of volatile is calculated respectively. The conclusion shows that slitting bluff body burner is suitable for sugarcane chaff's suspended combustion.
