The Progress in Tar Reduction Method Research

Biomass tar is still the bottleneck in biomass thermochemical conversion technology. The progress of tar reduction method is concluded, and the main characteristics of all methods are analyzed, which includes partial combustion and plasma techniques that have paid less attention to recently, as well as a description of relevant experiments and art technology. In conclusion, each method is evaluated comprehensively and their next research direction is pointed out respectively.
