THE SUPER ELEMENT METHOD CONSIDERING FLOOR DEFORMATION FOR STRUCTURE WITH SHEAR WALLS SUPPORTED BY FRAMES

The super element method considering floor deformation for structure with shear walls supported by frames is presented with the assumption of shear walls as equivalent columns, bottom frames as substitute columns and floors as deep beams. The whole structure is thought of as grillage beams sytem supported on soil and analyzed by matrix displacement method. The method is simpler in calculation and programing.
