BENDING BEHAVIOR OF CLOSED PROFILED SHEETING-CONCRETE COMPOSITE SLABS

A closed profiled sheeting can be used as the reinforcement in composite floor slabs. In order to investigate the bending behavior of the composite slabs with closed profiled sheeting and concrete, experiments are conducted on 4 simply supported composite slabs. Based on the test results, the bending capacity can be evaluated by the method similar to RC slabs. Formulae are proposed of bending capacity of this type of composite slabs.
